A friend of mine Ty Cohen recently asked what people’s daily rituals were…GREAT question!
Here’s mine:
Morning – Wake up. 10 full deep breaths. State to myself what I’m grateful for. Have a nice green/veggie juice or superfood smoothie. Meditate for 30 mins to an hour. Maybe go in the infrared sauna or hit the gym. Shower and light an incense and candle to start my day. The idea is to be at complete peace before I even step into doing work.
Night – Keep journal by my bed to write down any wisdom and thoughts and emotions that may be coming up. Read a book on deep ancient wisdom and consciousness. Visualization and deep breathing to fall asleep to how grateful I am and what my life is going to be like tomorrow and in the future. Ancients have used dreams as a way to let you’re brain figure things out while you’re sleeping. The idea here is to let my dreams become an extension of my day…so it figures out how to make my life better and give me knowledge while I sleep.
It used to be all about biz…now it’s about how to make myself a better person and how to make others and the world better. More fulfilling and the biz part seems to take care of itself.
What’s your daily ritual?
