Hey Fellow Human Being From , !
As you probably already know, I spent the past 30 days on a 30 day challenge were the challenge was for two people to eat for 30 days on just $100. This meant I was eating a lot of food that had high carbohydrate content and really just wasn’t good for me. Couple this with 3 weeks spent in the USA, the fast food capital of the world, I am carrying around some extra weight. On top of this I am doing little to no exercise up until around 2-3 weeks ago.
2-3 Weeks ago I decided I wanted to start BMX’ing and skate boarding again, so I searched around Google and found out that I was going to need to invest around $250-300AUD for a skateboard, At first this was a little more than I wanted to spend cause I wasn’t even sure if this was something I was wanting to stick at. I wanted to spend about $100-$150 to get started and then move from there. I then decided to check out eBay to see if I could get a second hand skateboard and start there. I ended up finding a company here in Sydney, Australia that specialises in brand new boards, with everything you needed brand new from $134.99 shipped. I was blown away. I then thought this company would have shit, no name decks and I then found out they have all the names – hookups, element, zoo york, girl, blind, baker, sk8mafia, plan b, syrup, alien workshop, mystery, enjoi, flip, darkstar, almost – you name it they got it. They come with trucks, bearings, grip tape, wheels and even a few stickers if you pay via PayPal. The guy is a champion too, he is very accomodating and helpful and I hear he is setting up and online store soon.
More details about can be found at:

Below is a pic of my deck, and another one of me skating in a suit hehe (click on the images to make them bigger):
Since starting to skate, I have had so much fun, lost a few pounds (or kilo’s depending where in the world you are), have taken some skin off my arm and been active. Not only that, but I got past alot of marketing block (just like writers block) which can really suck if your trying to build your business or run campaigns for clients. It even gave me some awesome new ideas of my blog design/logo which a good friend of mine is going to be doing for me in the coming weeks.
Speaking of him, I really should give him a plug. He is one of the most amazing photographers/web and graphic designers and all around nice guy I have ever met. He has a heart of gold and goes above and beyond to meet your needs. He is a true marketing rock-star in the online arena and I would recommend him to anyone. His name is Ori Bengal and his website is: http://www.CouchSurfingOri.com/
Back to my story, Its a common habit for me to go off on tangents, but I almost always come back to my point.
After the great experience of buying this skateboard and the creative outlet it has become, I decided to buy a BMX bike and get back into that (both BMX and Skating was something I use to do around 8 years ago when I was about 15 years old.) I ended up realising I could get a much better quality bike second hand than brand new after looking on eBay again and ended up buying a GT BMX. The thing is superlite and has a really small 3 peice crank which makes going off jumps, skate parks and wheely’s super easy.
It was shipped to me in pieces because it came up from Melbourne, Australia but for $295 including shipping it is another investment. I got it today (will post pics below) and went out on my first ride about 30mins ago, came back covered in sweat and my heart pounding. Gave myself a real workout to the point where my whole body was throbbing and I couldn’t talk. Jumped in the shower and just soaked up the hot water. Man my body has been given such a ride like that in a very long time. It was amazing. And the most amazing part of that, is it made me want to write. I’m not normally one to write, I actually really hate writing. There is something that I have learn’t as a pattern from some experience in my life that if I write and people don’t like it, I feel so judged and it totally blocks my creative writing flow.
After all the work I have done through Personal Development gurus like Anthony Robbins and many others, I still haven’t yet been able to shake this writing block that I have, that restricts me in so many ways. But after riding my little heart out for 30mins to the point where I couldn’t talk, I can’t do anything but write now. Its quite profound. And I’m loving it.
So while im on a roll, im going to throw up some pics of my new BMX, check them out below (click on the images to make them bigger):
As many of you many know, I am creating my own marketing product, a product which outlines what has made me money on the internet and how you can follow my formula to do so also. I think that skating and BMX’ing are going to be one of the most valuable tools in the conception of this product.
Ironically, I don’t really have much more to say, accept my body feels amazing, I feel so fresh, calm and clear and I have had one of the best days of my life today.
Thankyou world and thankyou to all those who are apart of my life. As Caleb Jennings would say LML! (LML = Love My Life).
Peace Out,
M.
P.S. As may also know, I am the co-owner of MiniRiders.com.au and next on my “get list” is a MiniMoto, like the following RevMx – http://www.RevolutionMX.com.au – Cheap as chips to $1995 + shipping and your ready to ride.
